About Shaken Down Olive Oil
Shaken Down Olive Oil comes from a grove of 500 mature olive trees on the banks of the Oruaiti River near Mangonui in Northland, run by Marc and Julia Guillaume alongside their Riverside Escapes off-grid cabins. The fruit is shaken and hand-picked each May, then trucked straight to the Olivado pressing house in Waipapa for cold pressing. The 2026 harvest was certified extra virgin and won Gold at the 2026 Oliveti Northland EVOO Awards. They sell it, through their own online shop with delivery across New Zealand.
