This extra virgin olive oil is made from olives grown on Shodoshima island in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, and pressed within 24 hours of harvest. A blend of early October pickings and early November optimal harvest olives, it carries a creamy aroma of green banana and blanched almond with moderate bitterness and pungency.
