Baleia Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from olives comprising Frantoio, Favolosa, and Coratina varieties (planted in 2008). The oil's terroir is defined by the Southern Cape's unique limestone soils, marked by cold winters and windy summers. Tasting notes reveal green tomatoes, artichokes, and a refreshing lemon zest, with a smooth buttery texture and subtle black pepper hints. Its pleasant bitterness reflects a high reported phenolic content, offering a balanced and authentic olive oil experience.
